Your beloved mom, dad or grandparent could be counseled against going on living, in order to protect Obama's system against costs. Eventually, they could arbitrarily be determined to not meet Obama's "quality of life" standards, and it could become unthinkable that they should be a burden.
Obamacare is an assault on individual liberty and another step toward a “nanny state” where government dominates our lives from cradle to grave. The individual mandate gives government the power to force you to buy private goods and services.
Obamacare will result in a much bigger federal government. In order to implement all of the provisions, hordes of new bureaucrats will be required. The IRS will now hunt down and penalize millions who do not have any health insurance.
Obamacare imposes more than 20 new taxes and will send premiums soaring. Also, in an attempt to “control costs” and “promote efficiency”, Obamacare limits the treatment options that doctors and patients can consider.
Many small businesses are going to be absolutely crushed by the provisions that require them to provide expensive health insurance coverage for their employees. This will make them less competitive with foreign companies and harder to hire new employees.
It is projected that Obamacare will add 20 million to Medicaid rolls. Taxpayers will be paying for all of this. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that Obamacare will add almost $2 trillion to government spending over the next decade.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, I hope you are happy for voting this man in. This insane health scheme is hardly for "health" at all, but rather a way to convert from a free person into a slave, in my opinion.
