Open Question: My glasses are broken?

last year in october, i got my first pair of glasses because i couldnt see very well in school. but i broked my glasses sometime in february or march, like, it broked in half, into two pieces. and because i dont need glasses for everyday life, only in class, i used tape to tape it together and held the glasses up when i needed to see in school. i didnt want my parents to know that i broked my glasses, so that was the only thing i could do.

but now its the summer and i would have to tell my mom soon. so my question is, can i go see the doctor now to order my new pair of glasses and will masshealth(the health insurance i have) pay for it? i heard that children under the age of 21 are entitled to one new pair of glasses each year, and a checkup every 12 months. but if it hasnt been 12 months yet, can i still see the doctor? because i really need a new pair of glasses by the time school starts next year. :(
