Open Question: I'm pregnant and scared... I can't afford a baby, but want my baby.?
I am 25, and work 1 fulltime job (40 hours per week), and a parttime job (25 hours a week) so I'm super busy working 65+ hours a week and I just found out I'm pregnant, I'm 8 weeks. I have health insurance through my fulltime job but I'm so strapped for cash I don't even have enough money to go to the doctor because for a specialist it's a $50-copay. (I went to a free-clinic to confirm my pregnancy).
I don't want to have an abortion, I also don't want to place for adoption because I want my baby myself and I think it's a really entitlement thing for rich families to think that just because they are well off they are entitled to your baby and you are not. So typical in this right-wing country.
I live out of state from my family and once we are done with college in my family we are not welcome to move back home, just not an option. I have no family in this state and I'm terrified on how I am going to do this. Just to pay my bills I work my crappy fulltime job, and my parttime job just to 'get by' how in the world will I pay for childcare for 65 hours per week as well?
I'm scared. Do I have any options? And my family/friends to help is not an option. The father wants nothing to do with the child or me, now that he know's i'm pregnant. I found out my Mr. Wonderful wasn't so wonderful eventhough he's a sucessful guy he's married with a family which he just failed to mention during our 8 week dating.
I've been looking for a better job for 2 years. Milwaukee WI has a horrible job market. No use.
