Open Question: Crest whitestrips making my teeth hurt?
I absolutely LOVE the crest whitestrips. I used them for the first time about a year ago.. I used up a whole box and my teeth were SOO white I loved it! But after about 4 months, I could tell they weren't as white anymore. So I went to go use them again. I used about 4 of them and then my teeth started having theses really sharp pains about an hour after I took the strips off. I stopped using them because of this. So I went to try and use them again a month or two ago and they were SO painful! I mean beyond painful. I do have a couple cavities that are being taken care of soon and i have a root canal soon. (Yes, I am RELIGIOUS about taking care of my teeth. these were cavities that went unnoticed because of problems with our health insurance.. We don't have a lot of money.)
Is this the culprit? Should I wait until all my dental work is done or can I just use sensadyne or something? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks.
