Open Question: An "Obamacare" question?
So I've heard/read some about this and how people will have to pay a fine if they don't buy insurance, and I'm just curious, what about people who have no income at all but aren't disabled, they just don't want to work? I have a good friend in his late 30s who lives with his parents, they still buy his food/clothes but they themselves are on Medicaid and disability and I know they can't afford to buy him insurance too. I think he said he isn't eligible for free health insurance because he isn't disabled. He's also never filed a tax return or anything because he's never made any money at all, and he's made it clear to everyone that he has no intention of getting a job, ever. What would happen to him? Would they throw him in jail?
