Open Question: Anxiety or Vertigo not letting me sleep!!!!!?
Hi. I am 41 yr old Hispanic woman and at a point in my life where I am mentally/physically tired and plagued with problems that I have decided to change what I eat and exercise. I have been dealing with terrible anxiety and each time I suffer with different kinds of symptoms. For instance, yesterday night I didn't fall asleep until 4 am because every time I would close my eyes I would all of a sudden feel like I was falling and my heart was racing! Now I woke up feeling aches and pains all over my body. 3 days ago, I experienced the same thing so I woke up at 1:30 am and cried uncontrollably for an hour because I felt like the walls were closing in on me! I really do not want to be medicated but some of these "anxiety control" methods on the internet are pitiful and useless! I have tried sleeping supplements like valerian, lemon balm, passion flower, melatonin etc...nothing seems to help me sleep. Please help me with any advise as I feel like I am being tortured. I have a very loving hubby of 21 yrs, a 21 yr old daughter, and a son 11 who are also being affected because they see what I am going through. 1 yr ago I was very happy, energetic, and now you can see the difference in my pics. I have no health insurance and live on a $1,600 income. If I could get a good night sleep every night it would vastly improve my health problems (i hope). Any advise would be appreciated.
