Open Question: Why do accident lawyers try so hard to increase the cost of the health care that their clients need?
I know someone who got into an accident. That person wasn't really hurt that bad but his lawyer kept sending him to all these different chiropractors and he had him getting all of these unnecessary MRI's.
There really was nothing wrong with him but before he sued his car insurance company he had raised the bill to well over 50 grand. His lawyer claimed he had whiplash and back problems. I asked my friend how he could feel comfortable doing something like that. He told me he didn't care because everyone was doing the same thing and since it was insurance money it didn't hurt anyone.
I no longer talk to him because I think its totally wrong. He is wrong, his lawyer is wrong and all of those doctors who were juicing the insurance company were wrong. I called him a criminal because he and others like him are the reason why my insurance is so damn high.
Anyway why do lawyers do this?
