Open Question: Why do Republicans perpetuate the very things they hate about American society?

1. They claim to hate abortion and the fact that there are unwed mothers. And yet, they are against sex education, except for abstinence. They hate contraceptives, and they don't want women to have control of their own reproduction. Why?

2. Republicans are concerned about the economy, and yet they think the government should do nothing to help the poor. They want to do away with things like Medicaid, and government assistance to the needy. People lack education, but Republicans are not willing to help them achieve it. People lack health insurance or the means to afford healthcare, but Republicans don't think the government should provide assistance with healthcare costs for the needy. In fact, they would rather a sick poor person die, and laugh about it, as proven during a certain debate. Why?

3. Republicans think the government should spend less money, and yet they support costly wars. Why?

4. They claim to want freedom of religion and cry and whine about separation of church and state when it suits them, and yet they want the government to enforce their religious morals on other people who may not agree with them, thus contradicting themselves. Why?

I don't get it. Someone please explain it to me.
