Open Question: Do Americans who support Obamacare know what they are in for?
Once government has control of health care, the government will pass laws to 'protect you'. The laws however are designed to reduce health care costs only. The government will also ration health care to those who are most deemed worthy. The 38 year old male will generate much more taxes than a 60 year old whose tax gathering days are done and therefore the 38 year old will get preference.
This is not hypothetical, this is real.
In Canada people die in the waiting rooms at Emergency. People wait a month or more to see a specialist and then 2 to 3 months for a standard operation like a hernia.
Who cares if your employer must provide health insurance when your system is like this?
In Canada families have to go for an interview with a family doctor (when one becomes available) to see if he will even take you as patients. Many families do not have family doctors.
This is what Obamacare will do to your health care system. Maybe not right away but eventually.
Enjoy your world class health care system while you still can.

To the others, health care is always there for you in the States. There is Medicare and Medicaid.
They are not perfect but Obamacare is 100 times worse.
