Open Question: How can any person with self respect work as an adjunct college instructor?
I was talking with a man who left college recruiting a few years back and now simply teaches as an adjunct at the local community colleges. How is that a career? He teaches ESL at three different community colleges. His wife has a part-time job with benefits and he gets health insurance through her.
Do you think someone like this should grow up and get a real job instead of floating around teaching classes at various community colleges?
