Open Question: I feel terminally ill more and more for years and still havent seen a doctor?
I had health insurance when i was a truck driver, but it takes a long time to make a doctors apointment for my first consultation, my company put me in a situation where i had to miss the appointment. So as i was feeling terrible i had to stop that job for a while. Later off when i had no health insurance and living at home i tried to set up consultation with another doctor and got the run around until they didnt call me for an apointment. They made an appointment for me to fill out an application, but no appointment to be seen. Now i am back in this situation of living at home. Have a job that pays ok and i like it, but no insurance. I called in work sick today after almost 2. Months of no tardiness. Its my ideal job really, but i feel chest pains like borderline heart attack. I have went to an emergency room a few times as my only clear option, but they find nothing. I tried redimed and they told me to take antacid and they are not equiped for my sort of problem (after paying them $150 of course ). I already know for sure that what ever my problem is, will require. Some tests i cannot pay for. I tried buying my own health insurance a few times in the last few years. Have been turned down. The goverment sponsored insurance requires me to make a little less to qualify fod ( must be under 20k per year). So now i am about to quit my job and peddle my mountain bike cross country aiming for better health. I am way over weight but have plenty of endurance. And energy for a bike tour. I just have severe chest pains that continue to get worse and what feels like heart discomfort. What would you do if you were me and wanted enough health to have love and family some day otherwise just enjoy nature until my last beat? What are my options to get the medical attention i need?
