Open Question: What is the number one problem we have in health care?
The number one problem we have with health care today is you can't get catastrophic health insurance. Everyone thinks everyone else is suppose to pay their bills. What is the definition of insurance? It is the pooling of money from others for protection for things that are catastrophic and unforeseen. When you include things that are not catastrophic and unforeseen, you are no longer talking about insurance. This is what we have today because of all of the mandates. The latest contraception debate only makes the perfect example of why our health care costs are soaring for insurance. When you include all of the mandates for things that are not unforeseen and not catastrophic, prices have to go up.
Why don't people on the left understand this?
There is nothing in Obamacare to bring down costs.
When there is no one paying their own bill, there is no incentive to keep costs down.
