Open Question: Are there any organizations that can help? Any?
My girlfriend's father was in a terrible car accident Tuesday. He had to be airlifted to the closest major hospital (in Charlotte, NC). His total bills estimate to be $200,000, and he doesn't have health insurance... he has a broken clavicle, his breastplate shattered, broken ribs, broken vertebrae, broken shoulder, ruptured spleen, and he's the only one in the family that works. He won't even be able to get out of bed for around the next 3 months, and probably won't be able to work for around the next 6. Is there ANY organizations that can help? It's not just the $200,000 medical bills they have to pay out of pocket, it's LIVING for the next 6 months with NO income...
